Shawn Roy Peters, age 58, of Sacramento, California passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023.
Shawn Roy Peters graduated from Amador High school and was actively involved in golf tournaments at the school, as he was quite the good player. He met his wife Mary in 1986 and they were married on May 1st, 1988. His family then moved to Sacramento, CA, where he worked as a masonry supervisor for some years. His hobbies were being on the delta fishing, with his family boating, golfing, and cooking which he learned from his mother. He passed away at his home with his family and friends by his side. He is survived by his wife Mary, and their four children, Lori Thornson, Denise Obedoza, Jed Moomau, and Derik Peters. His twelve grandchildren, as well as his four siblings, Steven Peters, Scott Peters, and his twin sister Sherie Burke.
