my prayers are with you in your time of need. I am sorry for your loss

Hi, this is Becca Harrison, Greg's widow, and I just wanted to offer my sympathy to Ryan's friends and family.  When mine and Greg's oldest son, Matthew, called to tell me that he had learned of Ryan's passing (already several weeks after it had occured), he asked me if I thought Ryan and his dad (Greg) were together where ever it is you go when you leave this place...and all I could do is reply, "I hope so...."  Greg loved him so much...and that never changed.  We often spoke of Ryan, wondering where he was and what he was doing and meant to go looking him but Greg just wasn't up to it for so long before he died.  He had a special place in Greg's heart...in all of our hearts actually, nothing could ever have changed that.  We missed Ryan after having him around so frequently,  all of the years that followed our last weekend with him.  Never understood why he stopped coming around because we all loved him so much and had such a great time together...but figured maybe he felt like it was the thing to do once Noah and Chandler were born.  We always had room for him in our home and in our hearts and he was never forgotten. I looked for him at Greg's funeral, wondered if he knew that Greg had passed, etc.  Was so sad that he hadn't been able to make it when I did not find him among those who attended.  And now, I Can't believe that he has passed, too--and my heart breaks for every one he left behind.  He was an awesome kid...and I will always remember the times we shared with him happily.  I am so sorry for your loss...our loss...I pray that you are all doing alright and that your memories of the time you shared with him bring you comfort...we really did love him, too.

My heart aches so much with Ryan's passing that I can only imagine how profound your loss must certainly be.  We all loved Ryan very much and he will be missed by all who knew him.  We will never forget him.  I can only hope that through all of your tears, the four of you will find some laughter.  Obviously, I would rather have Ryan here with us but I hope, maybe, we can find some comfort in knowing that he is up in Heaven looking out for the rest of us.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.  I love you. I am always here for you.

To the world's original "wing man" and you were the best little wing man an Auntie could ever have!  You were the first born baby in our family and always held a special place in my heart.  Your big brown eyes and sweet smile were infectious.  One of my greatest joys in life has been seeing the world through your eyes, whether it was Bambi, Christmas presents, or just hanging out, you always made me feel special.  The thought of you doing the Turkey Walk or announcing "burning turkey" to the top of your voice will always bring a smile to my face.  We didn't get to see each other as often as I would have liked once I moved away and you started to grow up but I hope you know how much you were always loved.  The world was a better place with you in it Ryan! I am blessed to have known you and been part of your life, even though it wasn't nearly long enough.  You were a great guy with a tender heart.  The thought of you being gone hurts so much at times I think my heart will burst, but then I think about all the cherished memories of you I hold in that same heart.  I will love you always. I will miss you always. I will remember you always.

I hope you know how much you are missed by your family and friends. You touched the lives of so many people even if it was simply making them smile and laugh. I have a lot of memories of you making me laugh and I have been sharing those with your family. Memories keep coming to my mind as I think of you. To the Sassman Family, I just want you to know that I have been thinking about all of you nonstop and can't imagine how you must feel. I am so sorry for the loss of your son and brother, but one day we will all meet again. I love you all, my thoughts and prayers are with each one of you. Stay strong!

Every day I think about you guys and what you must be going through. I know you guys are a very close family, as is mine and could never imagine losing a family member. Nothing will ever replace Ryan but he will be remembered forever. I love you guys very much and hope to see you soon.

   Your a friend. Your a cousin. Your a son. Your a lover. But to me you'll always be my one and only brother.
    Last Sunday we cried. All week we grieved. Friday we mourned. 
   But forever we'll celebrate for you, your life,  and all those you've made laugh and that you've touched.
   Not a day will go by you won't be thought of.
   Not a day will go by that you won't be missed.
   Everytime I hear dad talking downstairs, I think it's you.
   Everytime I pull in the driveway and see your truck, I think it's you.
   Everytime I hear "Deuces" I think of you, basically reenacting the now memorized music video.
   Everytime I see your "papa's" Griffin, I think of you.
   Everytime, everywhere, I realize how much your gone, yet so much all around.
   I'll miss our shopping sprees. Hitting up all the Lodi and Stockton Ross' after driving all the way to Tio Pepes just for lunch.
   I'll miss you bargaining with the flee market people just for my candle sticks I wanted.
   I'll miss your crazy laughs.
   I'll miss your goofy self when we take anymore day trips to Santa Cruz or San Fran.
   I'll miss seeing you on Facebook and us instant messaging eachother about the most random stuff.
   There's so much I miss, but it's all a reminder of so much of you I love. 
   Don't worry. I'll keep an eye out for Griffin and know he'll always be in good hands.
   Don't worry. I'll still joke and mess with Mindy like we all did just to get a good laugh : )
   Don't worry. I'll make sure to keep in touch with your friends and make sure their doing good. 
   Don't worry, you'll always be my one and only Big Brother. 
   And whether your here with me or flying high, I know you will always be there to protect me and you will always have my back through the good and the bad. 

I love you and miss you that no words could ever describe. But I know this is not forever, one day we'll meet again.

Ryan, words can not even explain the pain that I feel..I love you so much...Our family was so Blessed to have you for the short time that we did...I will never forget your goofy humor our trips to the beach our rides in our boat with nothing but laughter...and all of our meaningful talks. you were an amazing nephew and friend with a heart of gold....To Rick Mindy Malorie and Jordan...you were an amazing family to ryan ..what a great life you gave him..full of happiness and love for that you should feel so proud...I love you all and want you to know that though life goes on we will never forget Ryan and are here for you for anything.......WE WILL NEVER FORGET.............
