Ronald A. Henry

Ronald "Ron" Adolphus Henry Sr. passed away on September 14, 2014 at the age of 77. He was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica to Esther Baccas and Daniel Henry on June 23, 1937. He was the younger brother of Daisy Edwards, and older brother to the late Harold Henry and the late Vernal Henry. Ron arrived in America in 1958 and became a US Citizen in 1963. In 1966, he went back home to Jamaica and married his love for life, Irene Arjun (also from Kingston). They were married for 48 years. He was the loving, caring father of Yasmin, Ronald Jr., Shana, and Daniel. He was also proud grandfather of Jacqueline, Alexandra, Katherine, Daniel Jr., Nathaniel, and Arabella. Ron was the classic success story of an immigrant who came to America in search of the American dream. He had a strong work ethic and knew what he wanted to accomplish. In addition to being a successful commercial and residential real-estate investor, Ron was also a successful business owner and operator. Ron was generous to the end. He not only provided for his immediate family, but also helped extended family and friends. Ron always came through in time of need. He loved to share his life experiences and advise friends and colleagues. Ron's favorite pastimes were watching boxing, playing blackjack, talking about real estate, and doting on his grandchildren. Visitation hours will be on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and the Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 26, 2014 at Harry A. Nauman & Son located at 4041 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento, CA.
