Roberta Elizabeth McRae, 71, passed away unexpectedly on December 22, 2022. She was born on April 6, 1951 to Robert and Rose Donnelly. Roberta was known by family and friends as Birdi. She was at home in Grass Valley, California with her husband by her side at the time of her death. Birdi lost her painful battle with cancer.
Birdi is survived by her husband Robert, two daughters, Jennifer Slay and Kelly McRae Rocha, her two sisters, Kathy Ciaramella and MaryAnn Lewis, and three grandchildren, Christian, Carter, and Layla. She had several nieces and nephews that knew her as Aunt Birdi. Family was everything to Birdi, she loved every moment she could spend with her family.
A “Celebration of Life and Memorial Service” will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. A viewing from 11 AM to 1 PM and a memorial service at 1 PM at Nicoletti Funeral Home 5401 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, CA.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to your local SPCA. Birdi loved all animals.
