Rick passed away unexpectedly at his home in Sacramento on January 3, 2017. He was born on May 20, 1971 in Sacramento, CA; graduated from Sacramento High School and attended American River College.
Rick loved playing his guitar and playing at family functions. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys, which he enjoyed watching with his friends.
He was currently employed by the DMV.
Rick is survived by his mom, Jeanie Cerrito and stepdad Frank Cerrito; brother Nick Cerrito, sister Angela Cerrito, uncles Joseph Platina (Gloria) and Bob Platina (Claire) and numerous cousins. Rick will be greatly missed by all.
A Funeral Service will be held at the St. Joseph Chapel @ St. Mary’s Cemetery on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 11:00 am. Inurnment will follow immediately after the service.
