It's hard to believe that my lifelong friend has been gone for a year now. I met Bubba 55 years ago. I used to ride my bike to his house to play with his brother Michael. Bubba always was very kind. I remembered going to gym night at Rio Tierra and playing basketball with him and Art Owens. Yes, Bubba could shoot some hoop. I just want to let his family know he holds a special place in the hearts of all Northgate.  Thank you Bubba for being you.

Rest in heavenly peace my handsome cousin. Thank you for providing advice and support to.  Evan.  it meant a lot to  us.  you have been a great brother,uncle, father and friend.  now it’s time for you to rest in peace. love you cousin. I met Bubba through his wife Julie, and I got to know him better when I sat in on his Bible studies and talked to him at work. He had this wonderful zeal for life and could find the positivity in things.  He could captivate you in a conversation, and you would really lose track of time. 😆  What a life Bubba lived!!!!  I am so glad I was a small part of it. Love you'll so much.

My name is Gilbert "Beto" Rodriguez. I grew up on Erin Drive right across the street from Bubba's house. Bubba was a dear friend since I was a young guy. I enjoyed our conversations about the Raiders, family, life and anything else that was going on. After my parents passed away, my two oldest daughters decided to live at my mom's house (their grandmother). I felt comfortable because I knew Bubba was around and he would keep an eye on them. I trusted and loved Bubba like an older brother from another mother. The above picture is at my mom's house celebrating my 40th Bday. I've displayed it in my house ever since. 
I miss you my friend, my brother, until we see each other again.

My condolences to Julie & family. I've have known them for 33 or so years. Bubba is my brother-in-law and he spend a lot of time with his niece & nephew, Justine & Mike, they cherished him. He was a wonderful uncle to them. I remember when he used to come to parent conference with me about lil Mike. Justine used to do his hair. They looked up to him as a positive male role model in their life. Raider fan for life, I was giving him a Raider candle (1 of first), he said no I want to pay for it, so I gave him a brother-in-law discount. There is a lot more, but I will leave at this now.  Bubba will surely be missed.

The Lewis family since they're condolences out to Uncle bubba's family he was a soul that you can never forget what memory I have of him is that whenever we wanted tickets to the game he had them and I mean some of the best tickets and I remember all of us (Mama Trina Landon brother 
Brent and pops Dell) going to a game together and it was truly a awesome night at the Arco arena even though they tore down the arena they will not tear down the memories that we all have shared there with Uncle bubba

Bubba was major part of some many of our lives. If you knew him. you knew him for life. He was good person and he will be truly missed.

I briefly met Bubba in his kitchen looking for a knife the day julie hosted hot coffee, chocolate and treats at her house last month. I feel like I know him through his beautiful wife,I've  enjoyed many stories she shared with me about his adventures with friends and family.
