Born in Seattle, Washington on November 5, 1948. Passed away surrounded by his family on September 14, 2011 in Sacramento, California. Survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Annie. Beloved father to, Patty Nishikawa (Darryl) and Dennis Carlson (Ellen). Cherished grandfather to Andrew, Ashley, Austin and Emily. Brother to Albert Carlson. Brother-in-law to Betty Jong (Jeff), Phil Chin (Evelyn), Albert Chin (Nancy), Herb Chin and the late Peter Chin. Nieces Cindy Chin (Rick Haywood) and Cece Yip (Jon) and nephew Chris Jong and great nephew Milo Yip. Raymond served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and was a journeymen electrician for more than 35 years. He will be missed. Family and friends are invited to a celebration on Raymond’s life on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 1 o’clock in the afternoon at Harry A. Nauman & Son, 4041 Freeport Blvd., Sacramento. Burial to follow at East Lawn Memorial Park, 4300 Folsom Blvd.
