Marian Stubbs was a very special and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, with five generations of family at the time of her passing. Marian passed on May 23, 2024 at the age of 102. Born in Independence, Iowa in 1922, she came to California in 1939, and eventually settled here in Sacramento. Which has been her home since then. She married L.J. Stubbs in 1941, and they were together until his passing in 2000.
She leaves behind daughter Marilyn Foursha, son Gary Stubbs, grandchildren Michelle Cannoy (Steve), Stacey Williams, Great Grand Children Kyle Navarrete, Camren Naverrete, Jessica Blalock (Kendall), and Great Great Grand Children Rykkar Blalock and Brixley Blalock.
In her lifetime she was a loving friend to so many and has out lasted so many of them. Of her many accomplishments she was most proud of her upholstery work. Just through word of mouth she was known here in Sacramento, and the Bay Area for the beautiful work she did on all types of furniture.
So with a very sad heart we wish her peace in the loving arms of our Lord.
