Linda May Moore

Born March 27, 1938 in Sacramento, CA to George and Thelma Gilbert. Linda passed away peacefully in her sleep April 26, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband Arlon “Bud” Moore, and her sister Marlene Doyle. Linda is survived by her daughters Crystal Lucas and Denise Cathey, her son Keith Lucas, and his wife Linda. She will be remembered with love by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Linda graduated from McClatchy High School in 1956 and California State University, Sacramento in 1959. She taught school for several years and worked for the State of California from which she retired after 27 years of service at the Student Aid Commission. She was a long-time member of Omega Nu, Cameron Park Newcomers, and Camino Seventh-day Adventist Church. Linda loved her family, friends, and church, and was happiest enjoying time with family and attending social gatherings. Linda blessed family and friends with kindness and generosity throughout her life.

Friends and family are invited to attend funeral services at 10:00 AM on May 16th at Camino Seventh-day Adventist Church, 3520 Carson Road, Camino, CA 95709.
