Loving husband, father, gramps and brother. Born October 11, 1939, Chicago, IL, passed away April 22, 2011 at the age of 71 years. Survived by his wife JoAnn Skokan; children, Joseph Skokan (Shelly), Jennifer Prince (Alan), and Jeffrey Skokan; grandchildren, Joshua and Alexander; brothers and sisters, Jim (Diana), Jack (Cathy), RoseMary (Bill), Jeannette and Peggy (Kim); sisters-in-law, Rita, Joann (Bill), and Kathleen (Dan). Predeceased by sister Marion (Gus) and brothers, John and Jerry. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. Joseph was owner and operator of J J Re-Bar Corp for 37 years. Joseph and his wife were active members of St. John Vianney Catholic Church for 44 years and belonged to the Mr & Mrs Club. Joseph was a loving and generous man who will be dearly missed. Family and friends are invited to attend a Rosary Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 7:00pm and a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, April 29, 2011 at 11:00am, both at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 10497 Coloma Road, Rancho Cordova. Private interment St Mary's Cemetery.
