John Albert Robinson who was Catholic born in Everett, Massachusetts on 11/19/1936 passed away in his home on 11/17/2016. He was 79 years old and was battling lung cancer and Alzheimer's. John was the youngest child of Thomas and Josephine Robinson who both preceded his death along with both his older siblings Thomas and Betty. John proudly served his country for 43 years first as an enlistee in the U.S. Air Force in 1957 at McClellan Air Force Base and then as a federal employee for the Department of Defense. He was honorable discharged in 1961 from the Air Force. As the Senior Command Representative in Communication Electronic Command at Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey, John provided communication strategy and tactical weaponry support to all branches of the Military. Achieving the rank of GM-15 (Government Management), he was awarded the "Commander's Award for Civilian Service" medal for his "exceptional management, leadership, and customer focus" during his travels to include Europe, Southeast Asia, and the United States. John retired in Rancho Murieta, California in 1999 with his beloved wife of 45 years-San (Sunny) Robinson.
John enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting along with talking to anyone about politics. He was a member of the RM Fishing Club, RM Senior Men's Golf club, and RMCC. He had a passion for the San Francisco 49ers and Giants, Thanksgiving turkey, Asian food, and anything chocolate. He was the proud father of Betty Robinson-Director of Villa Services, Wynn Las Vegas; Major Jennifer Fisher of the US Army Medical Corp and her husband Colonel Johnny Fisher and their children Alyssa and Sammy. He is also survived by his 4 children from his first marriage-Marc, Scott, Crystal, and Melody.
