In January 1971 he incorporated his trucking with his custom harvesting and began John Perez & Son’s Trucking.
John and Sharon met in 1962, they fell in love and married on June 22nd. In 1962 they had three children together and in the years to follow, John became a grandfather to 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He loved his family very much and would always say that he wouldn’t want it any other way.
He loved going to the movies every week with his wife Sharon and taking yearly trips to Mexico with family and friends. Everyday John would go out driving and take his dog FiFi to go look at all the crops, and make sure that they were all taken care of. He would love to just drive around and go get lunch and bring it back for everyone in the office. John LOVED his naps. He loved the holidays & birthdays but he especially enjoyed Christmas because the whole family came together at his home, and that’s what he loved the most, family. John had a group of friends and they called themselves the ‘Ball Brothers’ and his nickname in the group was ‘Taco Ball’. He loved those friends and was so grateful to have them as trusted support that he knew he could always count on.
