John V. Lecas

John is survived by his wife Kathy of 56 years, his children Angie (Carl) Borgwardt, Natalie (John) Mander, and Johnny Lecas and his grandchildren Sierra, Katelyn, Zoe, and Dominic.

John loved his family, friends, and fishing. He was a lifelong member of the Ascension Cathedral. He served the church as an Alter Boy, Sunday School teacher, a member of the Choir, he cooked for the Greek Festivals, Crab Feeds, at Church Camp and was the Church Caterer for many years.

A Trisagion for John will be held Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 600 Alhambra Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95816. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Annunciation Greek Orthodox church, 600 Alhambra, Sacramento, CA 95816. The service will also be livestreamed. Makaria luncheon to follow. A committal service will occur Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Oakmont Memorial Park, 2099 Reliez Valley Rd, Lafayette, CA 94549.
