If you are reading this, then my life's journey is over. It all started January 30, 1928 in Greensburg, PA and ended here in Sacramento on November 3, 2018. I was preceded in death by my parents Edward and Sarah, by my lovely wife Patricia, and my son Kevin. I am survived by my sons Michael (Geri) and Tim (Margaret), and my daughter Kathleen (James), my son's widow, Tina, my sister Sally (John), my brother Jerry (Johanna) and my beautiful companion these last years, Roberta. I also leave my grandchildren, all of whom made me very proud, and many nieces and nephews. I graduated high school at age 16. During WWII I enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard on my 17th birthday, January 30, 1945 and served in Alaska. Upon discharge, I used the GI Bill to enroll in Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. When I graduated in 1951, I joined the Gulf Oil Corporation as a geophysicist, and stayed with then until 1962. I then went to work for the State of California. I was with a number of different agencies and retired in 1992. My wife Pat died in 2001 and I later joined the Widowed Persons Association. I met Roberta and she became my companion on our worldwide trips. She made my later life complete. I would appreciate any contributions be sent to the Volunteers of America 3434 Marconi Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95821. LOVE TO ALL-JACK.
