Genevieve Louise Klopp

Genevieve “Jenny” Louise Klopp, of Sacramento, CA, passed Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012, at the age of 88 at Methodist Hospital in Sacramento, CA, surrounded by family. Jenny was born in Central Point, Oregon, December 30, 1923, to Wesley and Myrtle Duncan and was one of nine children. Jenny was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. Preceded in death by her grandson, Donald R. Klopp, her beloved husband of 50 years, Donald H. Klopp and her son-in-law, Curtis A. Tankersley. She will be deeply missed by her children and their spouses, Richard & Marlena Klopp, Bradley & Ronda Klopp, and Wendy (Klopp) Tankersley. Jenny will be forever loved by her grandchildren, Marylyn (Klopp) Orilla, Elizabeth (Klopp) Boyer & grandson-in-law Justin Boyer, Sarah Tankersley, Nicole Klopp, and Katelyn Tankersley; always cherished by her great-grandchildren, Peyton, Bryce and Jada Orilla, and Madelyn and Sierra Boyer. Family and friends are invited for a celebration of life at Harry A. Nauman & Son Funeral Home, 4041 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento, CA. Viewing to be held Wednesday, April 18th, 4:00–7:00pm, Service Thursday, April 19th at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
