A native of Sacramento, born May 29, 1924, passed away in Sacramento September 21, 2011 at the age of 87 years. Beloved father of Michael and Diane Suhr; stepfather of Kristen Martin and Carl Hoffmann and father-in-law of Elizabeth M. Suhr of Reno, NV. He was pre-deceased by his wives, Rosemary Suhr and Jean Suhr and his son Fred W. Suhr, Jr. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends. Fred will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Fred was a WWII Veteran of the Army Air Corps and retired after 40 years with PG&E. Friends are welcome for visitation Monday, September 26, 2011 from 4-7pm and are invited to attend Services Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 12:00pm at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd., 451-7284. Burial to follow at East Lawn Cemetery.
