Claude Napoleon "Sonny" Montgomery was born March 29th,1932 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Sonny, also known as "Monty" to his co-workers, had a tremendous love for aircraft. With great pride, Sonny served for more than 40 years as a hydraulics mechanic for the United States Air Force at McClellan Air Force Base. Sonny is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years Carmelita; their daughter Deanna Montgomery Miller and her husband Randy; their grandsons, Matthew and Zachary and his wife Katrina; great-granddaughters Layla and Penelope; and his sisters Ann Frokovich and Ruth Simpson. Sonny was a second father and uncle to many, respected and loved by all, always devoted, and self-sacrificing for his family and friends. Sonny was a proud, honest and generous man like no other, with a heart of gold, and open to all. Sonny will be forever loved, missed, and in our hearts. We are eternally grateful and proud to have shared his love.
