Ciro Negri, 95, passed peacefully Thursday, January 17, 2019. He was predeceased by his loving wife Assunta Negri in 2004. Born on January 7, 1924 in Tres, Val di Non (TN), Italy. He, his wife and son immigrated to Sacramento, CA in 1960. In 1988 he retired from Weinstock's after 28 years of being a tailor. He enjoyed playing bocce, gardening, cooking, fishing, hunting and spending time with his immediate family which he loved so much and would do anything for. He leaves behind son (Renato), daughter-in-law (Dana), granddaughter (Gianna), brother (Cornelio), sister (Bruna) and numerous nephews and nieces here and in Italy. Funeral services will be Thursday January 24, at 10:00a.m., St. Mary's Church, 1333 58th St., Sacto. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ciro's memory to East Portal Bocce Club, P.O Box 19466, Sacramento, CA 95819.
