Born April 19, 1919 in Lipzig Germany, completed her celestial transfer January 18, 2021. She came to the United States via Ellis Island when she was 5 years old. She grew up in California in various counties, finally settling in Sacramento. She graduated from Sacramento High School in 1938. Worked for the State of California in the Dept. of Motor Vehicles the Board of Equalization, as a Key Punch Operator, also worked for Stassi, Plesha Insurance Co. besides being a homemaker. She married Donald Roe Porter Sr. in 1939. She is predeceased by her husband Don, survived by her 3 children Donald Jr., Paulette, & Sally, 3 grandchildren, Gretchen, Michael & Heather & 2 Great Grandchildren, Joseph & Eli.
She loved the LORD & attended Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church in her later years. She loved to travel, read and spend time with her family and many friends. She was a member of Noah’s Ark II at Fair Oaks Presbyterian. Celebration of her life will be held at East Lawn Elk Grove Memorial Park at 12:30pm on Thursday, January 28th, 2021 on East Stockton Blvd.
