Predeceased by parents Emma T. Asbury and Adelbert DuFrene and four brothers Harold, Vernal, Elwood and Don. Survived by loving wife Sandy, sister-in-law Gail Davidson and several nieces and nephews. After serving in the 2nd World War returned home to attend UC Davis. A successful real estate broker for 50+ years, Del sold many ranches in the Elk Grove area. He met & married his nurse at Sutter General Hospital in 1967. Enjoyed working at his ranch with horses & angus cattle. Spent many hours as a partner in Sloughhouse Inn. Special thanks to the Lucchetti family for their many kindnesses and including us as a member of their family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sacramento Children’s Home or Shriners Children’s Hospital. A memorial service will take place at East Lawn Memorial Park, 4300 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento, CA on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 2 PM. Inurnment will be private.
