Carolyn Louise Moreno, age 78, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013 in Elk Grove, CA. She was born on July 7, 1935 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Carolyn was preceded in death by her father Loyd J. White, and mother Dorothy U. White. She is survived by her beloved husband Manuel Moreno of 55 years, sisters Mary Ellen Buckley (Thomas), Nancy Conley (Michael), sons Michael (Holly), Jeffrey, Tim (Julie), grand- children Ethan, Parker, Brooke, Bowen, Brenna, Bailee, and many relatives and close friends. Carolyn worked in various jobs over the years, but was most proud of her years at Nevada Western, where she was the Director of Finance. Among her many passions in life, Carolyn loved creating stained glass windows, and spending time with her grandchildren. Carolyn was dearly loved by her family and friends, and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 9, 2013 at Harry A. Nauman & Son, 4041 Freeport Blvd, in Sacramento, CA at 11:00 a.m.
