Anne passed away at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her daughters, Jean and Suzanne, and is also survived by her sons, Jon, Dan and Brad and seven grandchildren. Anne was preceded in death by her loving husband, Glenn Hitchcock, her parents, and her cherished cat, Missy. Anne was born in Erie, PA and moved to California in her early teens; she was a long-time resident of Sacramento. Anne retired from Public Health Institute Survey Research Group this past summer after 21 years of service. Anne loved to travel and was fortunate enough to see many areas of the world. She was an avid movie and theater goer, spending many Saturday nights at the B Street Theater or the Music Circus. Anne was a life-long bridge player from which she formed many friendships. Anne was a beloved mother, grandmother, wife and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
