Anna is survived by her son, Jimmy Martinez and his wife Julie of Folsom, CA; and son, Robert Correa of Daphne, AL; Granddaughter, Teresa Jacobs and husband Joshua, of Texas, Granddaughter Lindsay Maxie, and husband Myles, of Sacramento, CA; Granddaughter Teresa Thomas and husband Jacob of Austin, Texas; Grandson, Justin Correa and wife Kimberly of Fairhope, AL; Grandson Travis Martinez, of Riverside, CA; Granddaughter Lauren Correa, of Trussville, AL; Granddaughter, Gabriella Correa of Birmingham, AL; Great Granddaughter Emmy of Sacramento; Great Grandson Joshua Whitwell of Austin, TX; Great Granddaughter Lea of Austin, TX; Great Grandson Nicholas Correa of Fairhope, AL; and Great Great Grandsons Karter and Kade of Austin, TX.
She is preceded in death by husband, Guadalupe Martinez of Brownsville, TX; husband Ruperto Correa, of Raymonville, TX, son Roberto Correa, of Sacramento, CA; and daughter Anna (MaryAnn) Viramonte, of El Paso, TX.
Anna was born on October 14, 1927, in Carrara, Italy to father, Ettore Felsini, and mother, Angelina Felsini. She married Guadalupe Martinez, a U.S. Army soldier, in Italy after WWII and they moved to Texas, U.S.A., where daughter Anna (MaryAnn) was born in El Paso, and son Jimmy was born in Houston. Guadalupe passed away in 1952. Anna married Ruperto in 1955 and he moved the family to Sacramento, CA. Son Roberto was born in 1956 but sadly died in 1957 from pneumonia. Son Robert was born in 1962. Her children remember their mother as kind, gentle, patient and loving who loved to sing and encouraged them to pursue their goals.
Anna was fluent at speaking three languages - Italian, Spanish and English. She was a proud homemaker who loved cooking and gardening. She was an active and dedicated member of the All Hallows Catholic Church and often volunteered with her husband Ruperto in the church’s Altar Society.
Services are scheduled for Monday, April 28, 2025, at Nicoletti Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom, Blvd, Sacramento. There will be a viewing from 11:00am to 12:30pm; a blessing and service from 12:30 to 1:00pm officiated by Father McKeefry; a reception from 1:00 to 3:30pm; and burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, at 21st Ave., Sacramento, at 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers please donate to a favorite charity of your own.
