Alene D.Tellez was born April 9th 1928 in Valera, TX, and passed away peacefully in Sacramento, CA on Saturday January 27th, 2024. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and an auxiliary member of The Legion of Mary, All Hallows Church.
In her youth she enjoyed swimming, skating, taking her siblings to the drive-in theaters, and singing in the church choir. Her family recalls her as well spoken, with an eloquent vocabulary and a writer of beautiful letters in English and Spanish. She was regarded as a fabulous dresser with remarkable beauty in her youth.
She raised a loving family, and her children gave her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also a caregiver for over 47 years for her beloved father Jacinto Deanda, and beloved brother Jose Deanda. She loved to garden, play the piano, go dancing with Grandpa Tony and entertain her family and friends with stories and plenty of laughter! She was a wonderful hostess, with a loving and generous heart.
She was always willing to lend a helping hand and made countless charitable donations. She became known as someone to rely on in her family and community, and made everyone feel welcomed.
Her memory will be cherished by her family and friends and she will be dearly missed.
