Augusto Rafael Montero

MONTERO, Augusto Rafael age 68, of Gibsonton, Florida died on August 21, 2018. He was born on December 27, 1949 in Utuado, Puerto Rico. Rafael was a good and loving husband, father, and friend. He enjoyed history, gardening, science-fiction, jeeps, volunteering, the USO, and his family. He was a proud Officer of the Military, who honorably served his country for 20 years and continued his service to others throughout his life.

Mr. Montero is survived by his wife Vivian Escudero of Florida; three sons, David Montero of Colorado, Ralph and Anthony Montero of Pennsylvania; one daughter, Angela Rojas of Texas; six grandchildren, Alexander, Kristen, McKenna, Olivia, and Sophia Rojas, and Nicholas Montero; one great grandchild, Julius Lockhart.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 7PM-8PM, followed by a Service from 8PM-9PM at the National Cremation & Burial Society, 308 E. College Ave, Ruskin, FL 33570. (813) 645-3231.
