Sandra I am so sorry you have left this world.  You were always so sweet to me and I loved working with you at Rumford Hospital.  May you soar on the wings that were invisible while you were on this earth.

Some of my fondest memories of growing up include playing cards and relaxing around the campfire up to camp in Andover. Sandy embodied light and love and she lit up the world of everyone she spent time with. I feel so grateful to be one of those people. We're going to miss you, Sandy ❤️

Sandy is one of the sweetest and nicest persons we have ever known! It was an honor to be friends with her and Pete for about 50 years. She will be dearly missed by everyone that has known her.

I have so many fond memories of Sandy, especially from wilderness camping trips to Lake Richardson we made when I was a kid. Sandy and I enjoyed spending hours together using a book I had brought called "Rocks, Minerals, and Gemstones" to try to identify rocks that we found on the beach next to the campsite. Her warmth and her positive, easygoing approach to life made her a joy to be around and offer a lesson to us all.

I had the amazing privilege of caring for Sandy her last few years/days of life. I have taken care of countless patients over the years and Sandy is one I will never ever forget. She has made me a better person and nurse. I hold her and Pete in a special place of my heart. She fought so hard and loved so much. She gave me and many of my colleagues a special crystal prism after one of her long stays. I cherish it as it lights up my kitchen with the sun. I truly loved your mom so much and will never forget the love she showed me. My prayers are with you all. Sorry I can not make her service. I hope you kept her blanket and pillow case.  All my love and prayers.

This beautiful person I had the pleasure of knowing. ❤️  Sandy was one of the most compassionate, caring, attentive, kind-hearted people I have ever known. The world is a better place because of people like you, Sandy. Thank you for always being you and I know you will always be with us. When I think of you, I will remember your smile, and I will remember how fully you lived in the present moment, with the people you loved, and who loved you. 

 

Pete, Sarah, Beau, and family,
My heart is breaking for all of you. Sandy was a wonderful woman, she would light up a room just by entering. I have so many wonderful memories of her and your family.
Camping, wreath making, xcountry skiing, parties at your home, camp, and at Laurie and Kevin’s. Our girls shopping weekends, will always be special memories for me.
She had the biggest heart, a great laugh, and a contagious smile.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Aunt Sandy. My condolences to Beau, Sarah, Pete, and the rest of the family. In all my memories of her the thing that stands out is that she was always happy and upbeat - I cannot remember a single time when she wasn't smiling.
