Robert Calvin Larsen

Bob was born on May 18, 1931 to parents of Ejnar and Elizabeth Larsen. He grew up in Falmouth Maine and graduated from high school there. Bob served in the US air force from November 1949 to August 1953. He then moved to the Rumford area and worked for Frost Motor Supply. He later worked at the local paper mill until he retired.

Bob spent much time at his summer camp in Deer Isle Maine. He enjoyed tinkering on his boats and fishing along the coast of Maine.

He and his wife Donna spent winters traveling in Florida fishing, camping, and meeting new friends. They eventually settled in the Sebastian area.

Bob was predeceased by his parents Ejnar and Elizabeth and a grandson Tyler. Surviving him are his wife Donna Adams Larsen, his daughter: Sharon Weeks (Robert) of Winthrop, sons: Ronald Larsen of Carthage and Timothy Larsen of Mexico. He is also survived by two brothers: Paul and Alan, a sister Judy Arsenault, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Market Square memory care unit and the Androscoggin hospice for the care and support they gave to Bob.

Interment will be at 163 Mount Vernon Road, Augusta at 10:00 am on Wednesday September 13, 2023. A remembrance gathering will be at his daughter Sharon’s house at 43 Holmes Road, Winthrop from 2:00-4:00pm on Saturday October 7, 2023.
