He was born in Rumford on July 18, 1949 a son of Harold W. and Loretta (Geronda) Blaisdell.
Blaze was educated in Dixfield schools.
He was employed as a Propane Technician and a Jack of All Trades.
Blaze was a Leathersmith and repaired saddles and harnesses, made holsters, saddle bags, belts and leather bikinis for the female bikers. He was a fixture for many years at the Fryeburg Fair.
He loved his 62 Triumph and even when he was sick his ears perked up like a Doberman when he heard a motorcycle ride by.
Blaze was a little rough around the edges, but had a heart of gold. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and compassion for people.
Surviving are his wife, Debra Blaisdell of Mexico; stepmother Rachel Blaisdell of Jay, father in law, Charles L. McKenna of Rumford; children, Macy Jon Blaisdell of West Bethel, Nicholas Graham and wife Jess of Rumford, Shanda Morgan of Rumford, Michele Richardson of Milton, and Jolene Perry of Wayne; sister, Bonnie Cappucci and husband Michael of Manchester, CT., 12 grandchildren, Landyn, Logan, Liam, Hailey, Hunter, Jeremiah, Sadie, Brooke, Trenton, Paris, Claire and William; cousins, Linnell Geronda and Brenda Cascio; special nieces, Julie Jacques and Becky Jean Cascio; many other nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Kathy Westleigh and Eric Mills; and many other friends too numerous to list.
