Martina Marie Towle

She was born on October 1, 1948 in Rumford a daughter of the late Archer and Rita (Paradis) Towle. Marty lived her entire life in Rumford, ME, graduating from Rumford High School as a member of the class of 1967 and The Auburn Maine School of Commerce shortly after.

Growing up she enjoyed ice skating at Pettingill School, swimming and family vacations at the family camp at Weld (Webb Lake) and times spent at Bailey’s Island. Later in life Marty attended Hope Association and became a resident of Horizons. There Marty had a life well lived, full of loving and caring people. She looked forward to her weekly McDonald’s run, bowling, car rides, her M&M’s and trips to the ocean. Thank you all for that. Because of you Marty was able to live her life as she wished and as independently as possible.

She is survived by a sister-in-law Lucille Constible and three nieces, Dawn White, Patty Towle and Jennifer Davis as well as three special cousins, Michael Gaudin, Patrick Gaudin and Janice McKenna. She was also the sister of the late James Towle.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 2 pm at Hope Association, 85 Lincoln Ave, Rumford. Burial in St John Cemetery, Rumford will be held in the spring.
