Georges Luc Morin

He was born in Saint Martin de Beauce Quebec, Canada on November 7, 1925 a son of Archelas Morin and Amelia (Roy) Morin.

Luc married Irene Arsenault on September 18, 1954 and together they celebrated 40 years of marriage, she passed away on December 21, 1994.

He was a self-employed logger for most of his life.

Luc loved spending time with his family taking care of his trout ponds and his vegetable gardens. He also enjoyed square dancing and his nightly visits to McDonalds.

He was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior and was a 55 year member of AA.

Luc was inducted into the Logger Hall of Fame in 2014

Surviving are his children, Christine Morin of Dixfield, Denise Harkness of Dixfield and Michelle Bellemare and husband Leo of Mt. Vernon; three brothers, Jean Marc Morin of Lac Magantic, Roch Morin of Lac Magantic, and Clovis Morin of Montreal; three grandchildren, Tami Vradenburgh and husband Ralph of Dixfield, Michael Virgin and companion Sally Pendexter of Porter, ME and Blaine Virgin and wife Amber of Dixfield; great grandchildren, Chelsey Frank, Dominick Frank, Carolyn Frank, Brike Hallee, Braylee Virgin and Damien Virgin; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Irene, and two grandsons; Daniel Virgin and Luc Virgin.
