Thomas J. Watters

Mr. Thomas J. Watters, 86, of Atlanta, GA, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away on June 8, 2010. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific and earned several ribbons of service. He served as a machinist in the aerospace industry for most of his career. Also he worked for and retired from Marta. He was an avid baseball fan who loved to play the game and loved the Atlanta Braves. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary; sisters, Mary, Geraldine, Rosemary, Margie; brothers, Robert and Lawrence. Survived by his loving family which includes his children - Theresa, John (Donna), Thomas (Katherine) and Mary Ellen Hesla; grandchildren - Kevin, Kirsten, Veronica, Megan, James, Matthew and Sarah Elizabeth. Visitation will be from 6:30 - 7:00 P.M. and the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Rd., Roswell, GA 30076, 770 993-4811. The Funeral Mass will be held at 9 A.M., Saturday, June 12 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 675 Riverside Rd., Roswell, GA, 30075.
