Thomas Clinton Bush

Tom was born in Cordele, Ga. He was the older of two children, his younger sister Georgia Bush Taylor. His parents were Thomas Causey Bush and Eva Mae Truluck Bush. Tom was raised in Montezuma, Ga and attended Montezuma High School. He graduated in 1942 and joined the United States Army in 1943. Leaving after World War II in 1946, he then attended the Georgia Institute of Technology. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in mechanical engineering in 1951.

He married Tompy Roberson Bush on April 28th, 1951 and they had one child Nancy Carolyn Bush Williams. Tompy passed away at a young age. In 1982 he married Faye Thomas Holmes. Faye passed away in January 2004.

After college Tom worked for Atlanta Gas Light Company until he retired in December 1989. Tom was a member of the Georgia Professional Engineers. Outside of work Tom was a member of the Dunwoody Country Club for many years and an avid golfer. He was also a very active member of the Georgia Seniors Golf Association for many years.

He is survived by his daughter Carolyn Williams (Larry Williams), Grandchildren John Williams (Tricia Williams), Leslie Williams Lyle. Great- grandchildren Chelsea Lyle Davenport (Matt Davenport), Kayla Lyle Fee (Kyle Fee), Jackson Thomas Williams, and Kathryn Elizabeth Williams.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 5th, 2018 at Northminister Presbyterian Church at 11:00 AM, 2400 Old Alabama Rd. Roswell, GA. 30076. With a reception to follow.
