I regret this message is so late. I just now found out the Sherri had made her transition in September.

 I think back to all of the fun times we had as neighbors beginning in 1983 when we moved across the street from your family. I fondly remember the "street -side" talks Sherri and I would have. I remember my husband, James, calling down from our house and asking me if I was ever planning to come home!

She was just a fun, special person and I have missed her dearly. God bless you all, Susan Franklin


Sherry was a friend and neighbor. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. She had many trials in life which she handled without complaint and made everyone marvel at her strength. We had a neighborhood card group where stories were told, wine was sampled and a lot of laughter. She will leave a void in her family and friends’ hearts. 

Mrs. Sherry Haynes was a friend of everyone, particularly for the neighborhood kids and their families. It was a simpler time when we were growing up and she was a big part of our lives. As a nurse, she helped many patients and their families. She will certainly be missed but never forgotten. I will have the Haynes family in my thoughts.

Mrs. Haynes was a kind lady and mother of one of my best friends growing up. She always had a smile and a kind word to offer. She never seemed to mind that I would eat all of the cinnamon candy EVERY time I can came over. She drove us to the pool, the store, the movies, and always encouraged our creativity. She was a neighborhood mom who kept an eye on all of us growing up and then later became a friend. I know that she has been and will continue be missed by those that knew her. I'm thinking of the Haynes family during this time.
