Countless nights sitting on the deck while all the kids played.  Me, Sabine, Shelley and so many others.  The camaraderie was tangible and it lasted through the years.  She will be missed by so many.  And if you think no one will miss you when you're gone, look at this outpouring of love and memories for *just* one person. One person we all loved so dearly. 

All of the Moens, Kan and Shearin families, I am so sorry for your loss as it is deeply personal and there are simply no words to utter to convey my sorrow for this moment in time for you all. 

Soph and Thomas, 
Big hugs and We love you! We all met at the bus stop in Aviary for your first day of kindergarten.  You and Jules have been besties ever since and have thought of you as a fourth daughter.  From kindergarten, elementary, high school, college and nursing school. I am so proud of you as well! Sabine and I hit it off and we waved as the bus went by every day before school! Your mom always had a smile on her face and asked what she could do. She was always helping others and had a big heart. Memorable days when your mom and dad would come down for dinner, fireworks with SO many memories and milestones were shared. We had many days and nights of Laughter and tears as we watched you two grow into 2 beautiful young adults.  Your mom was always saying and shared how proud she was of you two.  My heart is heavy for you  and know you both will continue carrying both your parents memories as you go through each day. They are with you in your heart,  in your smiles in your choices and journey through life. It is comforting that Sabine and Dave are reunited and smiling down on you. Know that you have many friends and family that will walk with you and I am here for you ANYTIME you need to talk, need advice or just laugh and cry xoxo.  My home is always open for you both. I will even say “no mess” so you feel even more at home as you heard many times growing up and being at my house 😊 Love you - Miss Barone 

I had the privilege of getting to know Sabine when she served in the CTS Middle School Youth Ministry.  She always had a smile on her face and she shared her life with the youth on Sunday morning.  They all loved her as a teacher of God’s Word. 
Our heart and prayers go out to Sophia and Thomas.  Take comfort in knowing your mom is with Jesus now.

How sad we were to hear of Sabine's passing. She was always a smiling face to us and our kids during our active years at CTS and a loving , calm example of Christian values! She served the Lord with joy! We pray for Sophia and Thomas especially and please know how much of your Moms spirit lives on in you both.

Sabine and I grew up together in Germany.
Even though she was two years older, and boy that was a lot when you are kid, we clicked. I watched her during her ballet lessons.  Desperately trying to copy her graceful way but to no avail.
Years passed by and then we discovered that we both moved to the same continent. Biene to the US and I moved to Canada.
Our first phone call started like this...hey Alte...nein das kann doch nicht war sein.  We both could not believe it.
We wanted a get together, but life got in the way, now here we are...
Again, tragedy teaches us to never put things off that mean a lot to you. 
I cannot believe we will now never have that reunion we talked about.
Biene,  you, your vibrant personality, your infectious laugh, it all  will be terribly missed.

Sabine was one of the very first girlfriends I made when moving to GA in 2010. She was so welcoming and we had some really great laughs. Life happened and we stopped seeing each other as often as we would have liked, but we never grew apart. We both knew that we could pick up the phone and call each other at anytime and the conversation would pick up right were we left off. We'd meet for lunch on occasion amidst our busy lives and her smile always brightened my day! I will really miss our long conversations and her friendship.

Sabine always went out of her way to be a good friend. She always tried to help where she could, lend an ear, and wasn't afraid to speak her mind. We'll miss you Sabine.

Sabine was a dear friend to me.  She was loyal, kind and loved her friends and family so much.  We have memories together back to when are children were so very young.  One of my favorite memories is Sabine holding Thomas in the water at our community pool when he was just a baby, bobbing him up and down in the water, Thomas with that huge smile on his face - total picture of happiness.  We helped each other through the good times, and the bad.  If she knew you were having a bad day, a sweet little present would show up in your mailbox.  Sabine had strong faith and I know she is at peace now, in a better place, joined again with her family, so many who went before her.  Much love to you, Sophie and Thomas.  You will always be in my prayers and you can come to me for anything.  

Sabine & I still chatted often after 5 years of friendship-out of town. ..  she was one of the strongest women I knew . I was so proud to call her my friend. I will miss our chats and stories. I was happy she was happy again. Thank you for your kindness, always, Sabine , and welcoming me to be your friend . You will be so missed. Your children will be in so many prayers & thoughts.

Sabine never missed an opportunity to make me feel loved and important. I am fortunate to have been able to call her my friend. 

Sabine was not only a co worker twice in my career but also a great friend.  She always would listen and talk for hours when I needed advice.  My deepest condolences to her family and specially her kids.  She will be deeply missed by many.

@Matt Wheelis's memory - I was in the interview with Matt and Sabine and she did "knock our socks off".  It was a great icebreaker, and I can still remember the smile on her face.  She is remembered as a sweet and caring person who was so passionate for her work and even more inspiring on how she spoke about and loved her family.  She was a co-worker and proud to say friend.  We lost touch over the years, but she always remained in my thoughts.  Deepest condolences to your family.

I know Sabine singe my childhood i couldn't beliebte it's. I will miss her.

When I was little she always made me giggle, looked after me and always made sure I had the newest Disney film before anyone else.  My Auntie Sabine was more like an older sister to me than an Auntie, and meant the absolute world to me. Despite the years between seeing eachother and speaking with eachother I will always hold a special place in my heart for her. 
To my amazing cousins, Thomas and Sophia, I am so grateful to have you both in my life and I love you like your Mum loved me, as siblings rather than cousins. I'm always here for you both.

I was Sabine's manager at Constructware.  At her interview, she handed me a pair of socks and said she hoped she "knocked my socks off."  She did.   What a committed individual.  She was the only one who would regularly beat me to the office, and I'm a committed early bird. 

I still drink my coffee too strong thanks to Sabine.
