Erin, your tribute to your Mom yesterday was absolute perfection.  She would have been so proud at all the thought and detail you gave to the day.  So touching and memorable.  Love and Hugs.

44 years of friendship is a long time and through those years we faced good days and bad but we always managed to find a laugh or a "peachy keen" memory to add to the chapters of our life.  I'll cherish every experience we shared.  She was the best and I'll miss her deeply. My condolences to you, Erin, and your family.

My heart and prayers to Robin's family and Robin,  who is now an angel in heaven as she was on this earth...and to everyone she touched.  I am so so sad.

Our friendship began when Robin moved to Auburn from Doylestown, PA in 1985. Dolores and Robin worked together in the Elderhostel Program at Auburn University, and her laughs and sense of humor got the two of them through many a challenging time and day. All three of us joined together in several major travels  including three times in Europe: Paris in 1990, Rome, Cortona and Florence in 1995 and all over Tuscany in 2006. We created memories to last a lifetime as we loved our way through marvelous experiences, eating our own unique path through new cultures. More recently we discovered Watercolor on the Florida coast where our times together were more relaxed and always special. We loved you dearly, Robin, and will never forget you.

Dear Erin,
Some people come in our lives and too quickly go -- yet they leave a foot print on our hearts.  The foot prints are the gifts of love.  These gifts of love are your legacy.  Stand strong and tall and beautiful, like your mom, in this tragic time in your life.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

   Please accept our sincere condolences for your loss.  If you recall, we were friends of your Mom and Dad in the '70's here in Beaufort.  The last time we saw you and your Mom was when we stopped in to see you when you lived in Philadelphia in the '80's.  We then lost contact but thought of her and you quite often.   We were always so fond of your Mom with her glowing smile, her quick intelligence and humor, and her joy of living.  We have such great memories including our cruise on the flagship of the, then 3 ship, Carnival Cruise Lines and that memorable weekend in Pensacola.  We know that you will miss your Mom and, across time and distance, we share in your sense of loss.

Robin was like a Mom to me. She supported us and our decisions over the past 20 years without any question. She is perhaps the most independent, resilient and determined person I have ever met. I am truly grateful for what she has given to us and she deserved so much more than was given to her. I will miss her forever and know that her pain is forever gone. God has finally taken her to a better place where she can do everything she wants to.

Robin and I had a friendship that was strong both in and out of our marriage. I will miss her sense of humor, her kindness, her strength and her incredible patience in putting up with me for over 17 years. I am glad she will not suffer any longer.

Robin was my older sister and one of my best friends,we had many laughs,tears,joys and sadness thru what life threw at us! I miss you ,fly high now with your new wings!

I am so sad and sorry to read this post.  As you know Robin and I had a special connection and love for each other for over 50 years. A piece of my heart is broken. You did an amazing job of providing her with love and support.  She often told me you Lance and Taylor were the loves of her life.  She will sorely be missed. All our love. Lynn and Lewis

Robin was a great friend and was always there for me even when she was not feeling her best she always had that wonderful smile on her face, a great spirit and a lovely and smart person. I will always treasure the wonderful times we had together and remember her with much love, we had many wonderful memories together at work and outside of work, a true friend from the first day I met her. She loved the Olympic events we attended together in Atlanta, and she cherished that lovely daughter of hers. Robin until we meet again rest in peace my friend you will be missed by many.

  robin was my sister in law and a good friend.  she was a fun and considerate person.  we always felt she was a part of our family.  I first met her when she was a young college girl and my brother's girlfriend.  they were married shortly after and traveled many places when my brother was in the military.  I still managed to visit them several times in North Carolina and Alabama.  she would always show me generous hospitality.  
   even after my brother and her parted ways she remained a good friend of my family.  my mother always thought highly of her.  I really hope she is in a better place now.

My Mom was the best role model any daughter could have! For 25 years she perservered through her disease, Cerebellum Ataxia without one complaint.  She was strong, independent and especially loving and kind. i will miss her forever!  God bless you Mama! I will see you in my dreams!

Robin was the best Grandmother anyone could have. Ever since I was a baby she was always by my side. Gran was a strong person and I love and miss her very much. May she be in heaven with our other loved ones.
