Richard Harold Goodwin (1944-2024) from Roswell, Georgia. Went home to be with the Lord on September 10, 2024. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Brian and Iva Wood, parents Harold and Margaret Goodwin of Indiana. His (three) siblings survive him; Phil and David Goodwin of Naples, Florida, and Sister Karen Girard of Indianapolis.
Richard was born in Indianapolis and married his first wife Shari Goodwin of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is survived by Rose Goodwin, his loving wife of 34 years, two children; Deborah Goodwin of Ohio, Todd Goodwin (Laurie), and his only granddaughter, Arielle. He will be missed by his dog and constant companion, Coco.
He was a super Dad, amazing grandfather, and a caring husband. Outside of the home, Richard exceeded his accomplishments with every company and won many awards. He started and maintained his businesses for many years.
He enjoyed the Indy 500, the Kentucky Derby, Boating, Gardening, and building many projects. He and Rose also enjoyed traveling to Europe.
Many dear friends and family will greatly miss him. His positive outlook on life was contagious to all who knew him. He will forever live in our hearts.
