Nick was born October 5th, 1985, at West Paces Ferry Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia to Kevin Parker and the late Kathryn Byrnes. He was the eldest of two children and is survived by his brother Mathew Parker. Nick went to Blessed Trinity Catholic High School in Roswell, Georgia, where he lettered in 3 sports including football, baseball, and wrestling. He continued his education at the University of Mississippi, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
Nick married his high school sweetheart, Carrie Parker, on January 12, 2012, and is survived by their two children Peyton and Cooper Parker.
He had a love of sports and was an avid outdoorsman. His hobbies included playing softball, bowling, fishing, golfing and camping but above all else he had a passion for being a father. Whether it was coaching little league, leading a scout troop, or cheering from the crowd at a dance recital, he truly cherished every moment with his children.
Nick enjoyed spending time with his family and loved ones. He was often the first to tell a joke, the loudest to laugh, and the first person to offer help in a time of need. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Services for Nick will be held on Monday, July 15th, at the Roswell Funeral Home in Roswell, Georgia. Viewing begins at 11:30 am followed by a service at 1:30 pm. All who wish to pay their respects are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be sent to the GoFundMe page that has been set up to help support them in their time of need.
