Natalie Ann Baine, 20, of Roswell, GA, died Jan. 11, 2013 as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident earlier in the week. Natalie attended the University of Alabama, where she was a Junior year honor student. She was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority. Natalie was recently accepted to study abroad in her major of Accounting, and had plans to attend graduate school. Natalie graduated from Roswell High School in 2010. She started playing basketball at age 5, and eventually became a 4 year starter on the varsity team. As a sign of her physical and mental toughness, Natalie was the all-time leader in consecutive starts at Roswell with 111, and was point guard on the first regional championship team in 30 years. She was also proud to be a member of the Georgia Hoopstars Elite Basketball team. Always quick with a smile, Natalie knew no strangers and was never one to sit still. She loved sports, which was second only to her family and friends. Her energy, enthusiasm, and love of life were felt by everyone that had the good fortune of meeting her. Even in death, Natalie continues to spread her unselfish kindness. By donating her organs, Natalie has already given life to a 13 year old that needed a heart, a middle age man who received her liver, and her two kidneys found a 17 yr old female and a 28 yr old male recipient today.
