Nancy Stone Palmer
February 6, 1925 – November 8, 2015
IN THE CARE OF
Nancy Stone Palmer, age 90, went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas William Palmer. Nancy was born in Bluefield, West Virginia.
She attended several colleges, enjoyed sorority life, and USO events. While attending Birmingham Southern College she met Tom. Nancy and Tom enjoyed studying the Bible and traveling the world in their 60 years of marriage.
She was preceded in death by her husband and first born child, a son.
Her survivors include 3 daughters; Debra Reid (Matt), Lee Ann Palmer ( Andy Alltop), and Lisa Day (Mark). She also leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Roswell Funeral Home on Saturday November 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Roswell Funeral Home. The interment will be held at Green Lawn Cemetery, immediately following the funeral service.
