

Mohammad Saeed Yazdani, 86, of Roswell, Ga. passed away, November 15, 2016. Mohammad was born in Fars Province of Iran. He attended the University of Tehran and received a BS in Civil Engineering. He was one of the first people that earned a college degree in his town; he also was a civil engineer by profession. Among his accomplishments as engineer he built the water system of one of the major cities of Iran. Mohammad was a Civil Engineer at Tessa Inc. (early in his life), then forming a construction company called YASA and becoming President of YASA for about 20 years. YASA had over 300 employees and was responsible for many of Iran’s infrastructure projects such as highway, and bridges. He was a proud member of the Iranian Engineers Club. He also was fluent in four languages (Farsi, Arabic, English, and French). Some of his hobbies included playing classical music on piano. He also enjoyed playing backgammon, was an avid reader, and loved to discuss politics.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his two sisters.
Survivors include his wife Farangis, his two sons, Roozbeh and Babak, daughter, Roya, Grandson, Jayson, and his two great granddaughters, Belle and Zoie.
A Graveside Service will take place on November 20, 2016 at 11:00 am at Roswell Funeral Home and Green Lawn Cemetery, 950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA,. 30076. The family will meet at Roswell Funeral Home at 10:00 am and will then proceed out to the graveside for services.
