Mary Alice Campbell of Roswell, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at the age of 93. She was born in Bay Minette, Alabama on August 1, 1929. She graduated from Georgia State University with a Masters in Education and spent over 25 years teaching Business Education at Roswell High School.
Mary Alice was an active member of Roswell United Methodist Church, where she was part of the Seekers Sunday School class, a member of the choir and circle, and Travel Coordinator for seven years for the RUMC Travelers Club. She was an avid sports fan and never missed an Atlanta Braves game on TV and loved watching college football. Mary Alice spent many years traveling the world with her husband, Bob, and friends. She was very social and loved playing dominos and bridge, as well as enjoying many lunch outings with friends.
Her father and mother, Walter Douglas White and Mary Lou Presley precede her in death, as well as her beloved husband of 57 years, Robert (Bob) Clyde Campbell. Mary Alice is survived by her sister, Patty Wiley (Marvin); son, Bart Campbell (Julie) and daughter, Kim Arnhart (Danny) as well as her grandchildren: Haley Gordon (Jay), Mallary Forrest (Matt), Brittany Madden (Ryan), Brian Arnhart (Shannon), Luke Campbell, and Kate Sims (Jackson); Eight great grandchildren and one on the way also survived her.
She adored and was very proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren who referred to her as "Nana".
Mary Alice was loved by so many friends and family and will be missed tremendously. We are at peace knowing she has lived such a wonderful and purposeful life.

A receiving of friends & family for Mary Alice will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Roswell United Methodist Church, 814 Mimosa Blvd., Roswell, GA 30075. A funeral service will occur Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, 814 Mimosa Blvd., Roswell, GA 30075. A committal service will occur Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Green Lawn Cemetery & Mausoleum, 950 Mansell Rd, Roswell, GA 30076.
