Mr. Martin V. Williams

Martin V. Williams was born on March 12th, 1969 in Flint Michigan to Father Martin Williams Sr. and Mother Veronica Williams. He attended Beecher High School where he graduated in 1987. After high school, he proudly served in the United States Navy from 1987 to 1991. Martin traveled the world to Africa, Asia, Hawaii, etc. After many years of serving our country, Martin returned home and attended Delta College. Soon after college, Martin worked for Dow Corning in Human Resources. Martin later married Dara Williams on June 20th, 1992. Martin and Dara bore 3 children: Britni, Jazmine, Martin III. After years at Dow Corning, Martin accepted a position as a Township Manager for Buena Vista in Saginaw, Michigan. During this time, he was also ordained as a Minister at Faith Harvest Church. After residing in Saginaw, Michigan for several years, Martin was ready for a change. He moved to Atlanta, Ga in October 2009. Months later Martin met Ruthy Williams and daughter Neferteria (Neffy) Wells. After a couple of years of dating, Martin and Ruthy wed on December 30th, 2011. Martin was an Elder at Eagles Nest Church, where he served Pastor Lee Jenkins as his armor bearer, Life Group leader, and Outreach Minister leader. He also loved working with the youth ministry.

Martin enjoyed dancing, going to the movies, and reading the word of God. He also enjoyed playing chess, golf, pool, and tennis. Martin made an impact on everyone he met with his encouraging spirit and unwavering faith in God. His favorite quote was “See what you believe”. He leaves a legacy of a great leader, husband, father, son, brother, friend, and encourager to many.
