Marcia Eloise Brown, age 68, passed peacefully on January 30th, 2024, surrounded by family after her courageous battle against gallbladder cancer. She was born on March 16, 1955 in Ooltewah, Tennessee to Ruth Headley and Willard Hanes.
A symbol of strength and resilience, Marcia faced her illness with unwavering determination, always embracing life to the fullest. She looked forward to enjoying her retirement years, creating memories with her beloved granddaughter, Harper Grace, whose presence filled her heart with boundless happiness.
Known for her incredible kindness and compassion, Marcia touched countless lives with her warmth and generosity. She leaves behind a legacy of endless love. While we mourn her physical absence, we find peace in the countless cherished memories she leaves behind.
Marcia will be reunited with her loving husband Doug in heaven, where they will continue their journey together.
Marcia is survived by her granddaughter Harper Grace Branco, daughter Nichole Branco, son-in-law Jared Branco, son Michael Brown, daughter-in-law Jennifer Brown, mother Ruth Headley, sisters Lisa Jones & Linda Rice, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Marcia are invited to the Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, Georgia on February 5th, 2024 for a Visitation from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.
