Lew is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Dolores Marshall, his two sons Lewis Marshall (Bonny) and Keith Marshall (Lisa) and five grandchildren, Sydney Marshall of Naples, FL and Tyler Marshall, Alex Marshall, Clay Marshall and Ayden Marshall of Alpharetta, GA.
Lew was born in Mobile, AL. He attended VMI and American University. Lew has resided in the Atlanta Area since 1970. He was active in many community associations including Director of YMCA and Boy Scouts, President of Crestwood High School PTSA, President of Roswell Rotary Club, Board Member of the Tommy Nobis Center, among others.
Lew enjoyed water-sports and boating, RVing, and was a twenty-five year Atlanta Falcon season ticket holder. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He was the owner of the Governmental Insurance Source for fifteen years insuring Cities, Counties and Public School systems throughout the state of Georgia and was most recently employed by McGowan Governmental Underwriters.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 17th at 2:00 pm at the Roswell Funeral Home with internment immediately following at Green Lawn Cemetery.
Following the service, the family will welcome all guests to their home at 320 Dancers Way for a Celebration of Lew’s life.
