Lawrence 'Larry' Francis Gagnon

Mr. Lawrence ‘Larry’ Francis Gagnon, age 83, of Cumming, Georgia passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019. Larry was born on April 9, 1936 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the son of the late Leo and Blanche Gagnon.

After Larry completed high school he enlisted in the Air National Guard to proudly serve our nation for almost four years. In 1960 he married Beverly Ann Klemansky, his wife of 58 years. His working career was spent in the paper industry which led him to travel the world. Larry enjoyed woodworking, tinkering with pretty much anything, and always making others laugh with his unique sense of humor. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend; Larry will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Along with his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his two brothers, Donald Gagnon and Richard Gagnon,

He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; three children, Michele Reynolds, husband Jim, of Cumming, Georgia, Michael Gagnon, wife Laura, of Alpharetta, Georgia, and Suzanne Foley, husband Mark of Cumming, Georgia; grandchildren, Chadd Reynolds, Rachel Gagnon, Erica Gagnon, Lisa Gagnon, and step grandchildren, Meghan Foley and Brennan Foley; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends also survive.

A funeral mass to honor the life of Larry Gagnon will be held at eleven o’clock in the morning on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Cumming, Georgia. The family will receive friends from six o’clock in the evening until eight on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Roswell Funeral Home.

In lieu of customary remembrances the family request donations be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
