June 9, 2024 – Our God in Heaven called my Incredible Wife, Best Friend in-Life and Mother of Emma and Sean Home!!! God Blessed Lauren as she passed away instantly and without pain due to blockages in all of her arteries leading to her heart!!! Even though Lauren’s physical heart failed, her spiritual heart always overflowed with an abundance of Love that was felt by those who knew or met her!!!
Lauren is survived by her husband and best friend in-life of 24 years Kurt Kelley, her incredible daughter Emma, and her incredible son Sean. Lauren is also survived by her mother Betty Cariaco, her great older brother Ryan Cariaco (Amber and children Peyton, Lily Kate, and Maggie), brother-in-law Robby Kelley (Fran and children Morgan and Mike), sister-in-law Brenda Kelley (children Abby and Zach) aunt Nancy Reel, uncle Gene Reel and many other incredible Cariaco and Kelley relatives!
Lauren was preceded in death by both of her maternal and fraternal grandparents, her father Tony Cariaco, father-in-law James Kelley, mother-in-law Mamie Kelley, brother-in-law David Kelley.
Lauren was the daughter of Tony and Betty Cariaco and grew up with her great older brother Ryan, in Sharpsburg, Georgia where she was a 1996 graduate of East Coweta High School. Lauren attended the University of Tennessee her freshman year before transferring and graduating from the University of Georgia, Summa Cum Laude in Risk Management. Lauren started her career with the Hartford with a very short stint at Marsh Mclennan, but reunited and has been with the Hartford 24 years, where she Loved the company and especially loved all those she’s worked with over the years and she always said she was truly blessed to be surrounded by so many incredible friends and coworkers!!!
In 1998 Lauren met and fell in love with her husband and best friend in life Kurt Kelley and was married on May 6, 2000!!! In 2003 Lauren & Kurt became parents of Emma Kelley and in 2005 Sean Kelley!!! Lauren was always a proud and loving Wife and Mother often sharing her joy, fun and love they brought to her life!!! Lauren loved to travel and plan family vacations, often calling herself the vacation fairy and was always excited to plan the next vacation, because it meant she would be with her husband and children, where she loved to be!!!
Lauren was very proud and instrumental in bringing her husband Kurt to Christ and loved that they grew their Faith side-by-side until God called her Home!!! Lauren was active and attended North Point Community Church and was very excited to become a new Re-new mentor!!! Lauren was also very active with her beloved Recovery Group and was loved and supported by all that knew her!!!
My See Ya Soon Letter to My Love Lauren
Hey Sweetie, I miss you so insanely and you obviously know how much I Love You, because I said it all the time, and will always Love You!!! I get excited to think when God decides to reunite us in Heaven and we’re able to celebrate our Love throughout eternity together!!! Make sure to get out your Travel Fairy wand and start planning to take me to all of your favorite places in Heaven, so that they can become mine too!!!
I’ve always told you and others how blessed I’ve always felt that God brought us together, to meet, fall in love, and have two incredible children in Emma and Sean. I also feel blessed that you were so pivotal in bringing me to Christ and that we were able to see Our Faith In Christ grow Stronger Together!!!
I Love and Miss You So Insanely, but Remember, It’s Not Goodbye, but See Ya Soon!!!
