Mr. Larry Zacharchuk, Jr. of Roswell, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the age of 91. He was born on March 1, 1928 in Haverhill, Massachusetts; son of Larry and Katherine Zacharchuk.
After finishing his service in the U.S. Navy, he graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education, followed by a Master's Degree in Library Science. While at Purdue, he met the woman he would be married to for 61 years; Patricia Lee Frankenburg.
Larry was a very disciplined, knowledgeable, and genuine person who, from his early years of teaching school to the 30+ years in sales, continued inspiring others and had a way of genuinely connecting with every person he met. His legacy and influence will be treasured in the lives of all who knew him.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Patricia Lee Zacharchuk, and sisters, Mamie Marcelonis and Helen Zacharchuk.
Larry's life will forever be cherished in the lives of his daughter-Jan Zacharchuk of St. Petersburg, Florida, son-Mark Zacharchuk of Roswell, Georgia, granddaughter-Bianca Raub and husband, Jason, of Savannah, Georgia, grandson-Chad Zacharchuk and wife, Lisa, of Asheville, North Carolina; five great-grandchildren Kaylin, Pax, Isaiah, Noah & Willow and two great-great-grandchildren Kenlee & Karlee.
