My thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone that shares in the loss of Ken. I worked with him many years and enjoyed each and every day we shared. He always saw the light at the end of the tunnel and told me not to worry he had my back. Each time he came through. He was a caring and hard working man. He was truly missed when he retired. No one ever filled his shoes. Ken as you look down on us that are still here know that we care about you and your family and will keep them in our prayers.

Ever since we moved in our home in 2005 you and Ken were the first to welcome us to the neighborhood.  Since that time we have shared many special moments with you both and your Family.  It will not be the same to not see Ken working in the yard and his resilient smile.  We hope God will comfort you as you go through your time of loss and give you strength to make your life the best it can be going forward.  Always know we are here for you should you need anything ~ our door will always be open for you.

We remember Ken as always having a smile on his face.  He was such a positive person.  Everyone at Chix Performance will miss him greatly!

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Ken was truly a good man. It was obvious. Full of life and full of depth, he was jovial and quick to speak, but also contemplative and soft spoken at times. Loyal, kind, honorable, and down-to-earth, Ken embodied both the noble and the humble southern values. You got the sense that Ken always knew what he was about, what he was doing, what was the right thing to do. That's a rare thing. And to lose him is a truly, deeply sad thing. My love, thoughts and prayers are with Joan, Taeja, Grandma, and the whole family.

Joan, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I pray that God gives you and your family the strength you need to make it through this trying time. Even on your darkest days, remember that there is an angel by your side to guide you along the way.

Ken will be missed by many, but surely by our girls, his loving nieces.  We loved him completely as a member of our family, just as he did us, accepting all of us into his loving, extended huge group. Our family is better for having joined his. Much love to Taeja, Ya-Ya and all who loved him and knew him longer.

You are a very strong woman and I have no doubt with the family you have behind you and you, the woman you are, you will see the sun sometime in the near future and this was just another element that will make you better.

Joan and Taeja, you were the lights of Ken's life. I know how much he loved each of you, and how kindly he treated you. I know this because he was nothing but kind to me. His love was boundless, and he did not judge others. Ken represents for me what a real man is -- solid, dependable, funny, warm, and always willing to help. God bless both of you as you go through this journey. You deserved every moment of his love. My love and prayers rest with you.

Well my old friend, it is time for us to visit for a moment and I get to do all the talking this time! You know there are things we all would and should say much earlier than this time.  Some how I know you knew this anyway, but I am going to say it now. You were so much a part of my life and so many others for so long, we just took you for granted many times. You always had things figured out before you even needed us! You know when I learned out you not being "right there" this morning, I had to go back to the day they called me to tell me Nita had gone to where you are now. 
See. I told you this would take a minute! You know a lot of us were there when a little lady came into your life and we watched as you learned a new role. By the way, I know what He will say to you about that! Good Job! While the world has seen to put miles and years between us, they have not deminished the respect, friendship and most of all the trust many of us have for you. As I visited today with Bill and Steve, you remember 'Guiedo" and 'Parts is Parts', we shared some wonderful thoughts, and yes we had a laugh or two, but not at your expense this time. We even talked about 'going up the hill'.  Well, dear friend, and you always were, we will do what needs to be done here, we will keep an eye on your special ones, and since you are already with Him, say a fond hello to Nita, Ellis Mc and Tom J. They will see you around. Well, I guess I better end this now, but you and your familys names is on God's ears from our house tonight. Thank you for making this life more valuable. You did well!
