Kenneth James Carter passed away at the age of 54 on August 3, 2024. Known as Ken, he was born on June 29, 1970, in Nuremberg, Germany. He was a kind man known for his love for his family (especially his beautiful twin daughters) and friends. Ken started his career in real estate and later became one of the renegades in the cell site tower agency. Deciding to stay true to his entrepreneurial spirit, he was one of the first to join the King of Pops franchise and could be seen all around Roswell towing a cart or standing under the rainbow umbrella with a smile and a popsicle. In 2022, he became the proud owner of the Floor Coverings International Franchise of Alpharetta.
Ken was well-loved and will be sadly missed by his friends, family, and anyone who came in touch with his warm smile. He is survived by his wife, Doree; his children, Sarah and Avary; his mother, Kathy Merritt Robinson; his sister, Sue Carter Miller (Joe); nephews, Noah and Finn; his aunt and uncle, Pam and Robin Foy; his uncle, Paul Carter; his uncle and aunt, Johnny and Mary Anne Merritt; and his cousins, Ashleigh Love (Mike) and Austin Merritt. He was preceded in death by his father, James (Jimmy) Carter.
