My heart and prayers go out to all of the Lunsford family, I know it's been a little over a year since Joe left this world but I have known Joe since he started his business and he was the most precious person I have ever met always kind to everyone he met, I know his family will miss him but he will always and forever be in there hearts, I will pray for all the people who have had the pleasure of knowing him and his FAMILY, Heaven gained an Angel the day he passed away and this news today when I heard it just crushed my heart, I hope all of the Lunsford FAMILY will find peace and comfort and I will be praying for you all........

Life and death I celebrate equally. It’s a beginning, to be in the end. The impact that you leave with someoneand how it’s reflects in their everyday life, is the eternal life force of one that moves within us everyday. My name is Aryeè, I met your friend/family/loved one Joseph Lunsford surprisingly at a cash register at the Whole Foods in Avalon. I was working as a cashier and he heard me singing and commented on how nice my voice was. He told me to take his card and email him an original track, because he had some connections with someone who was familiar with the music industry. He had no idea who I was or that pursuing music was something I had dreamed about since I was like a kid. I feel like I can change the world through music. I make music to bring peace, clarity, love and awareness to youth and everyone really. So I sent him the track and he emailed me back saying that he loved it and put me in contact with someone by the name of Mark Smith. I thanked him for doing that because I literally dreamed that I would meet someone at Whole Foods who wanted to help me pursue music and it was so mind blowing it was happening. After reaching out to Mark, we initially we made plans to get coffee and talk about how we would be moving forward.  The day we are suppose to meet comes and Mark tells me that Joseph died and I was lost for words honestly. We talked a while and he told me that Joesph planned to make a 2 million dollar investment to give artists the opportunity to make music , invest in themselves and others to make residual income. I was really shocked because this was new information Mark was giving me. That sounded like an opportunity to grow, learn and follow my dreams at 19 years old ! I understand the beauty of purpose shown through who he was. Though he is not here to make that dream a reality, It gave me hope and fueled my passion so that I can keep going for what I love. So I continue to dream. Respects to the family , may his love live ✨ - Aryeè 

An amazing man...will be greatly missed. Still can't wrap my head around the fact that he is gone:( We will eventually have too much fun!

I am so very sorry for your loss.  Since the moment Joe married my sister, I considered him my brother. I have some really funny memories of him, and at least one that wasn't funny but really exemplified his kindness and compassion.  Brian, he loved you so much and was so proud of you. Austin, he loved you and was proud of you as well.  It is okay to be mad at God over your loss. He is a part of our family, and all family members get mad at each other, sometimes. God knows that we don't always understand His plan, and he understands that we get upset with Him. I've been there, too. Just remember, He loves you and He will still be right there when you are ready to get past your anger.  Be strong, and continue to make your dad proud. I love you all and I will continue to pray for peace, strength, and understanding. RIP, Joey...until I see you again.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Joe's family, especially his children.  He was a great person to work for and will be missed immensely by all who knew him.  He went too early but we will carry his memories in our hearts forever.

My deepest condolences to all of the Lunsford family and friends.  I am honored to have worked for Joe the past few years and to be able to call him a friend.  The world lost an amazing man last week.

My heart is broken and you've taken a big piece of it to heaven with you. Thank you for loving me and giving me our awesome son Brian. Joe, you have been a great boss. I have enjoyed working for you and getting to know you over the years.  We will always remember your kindness and generosity.

Joe was a real gentleman, we enjoyed doing business over the years. Colleen and I were shocked and saddened by his passing - after spending time with him just couple weeks before here in La Jolla, CA. Our deepest sympathy to Joe's family and friends. Jim Lyons

I was and am heartbroken at the news.  Joe was an early employer at the start of my career and progressed to a great friend.  We had many talks about family and life.  You will be missed.

I knew Joe at the height of his franchising empire and remember him as a charismatic self-starter.  He took great delight in doing things to make you just a little more comfortable.  To watch him do his presentation thing was to witness salesmanship elevated to an art.  He was very kind to me and I remember him fondly.

I can't believe the news of Joe's death. I spent most of my 20's in one of Joe's companies. I still tell stories about him - like the "passenger" in his Bentley.  Or like the days he'd stop at Zesto's and buy shakes for the whole place. His smile was contagious. He is the true story of starting something from nothing. I loved that about him. One of the smartest men I'll ever know.  Hugs to his family. I know your hearts are broken.

Just a gem of a man. Such a giving heart and always had a smile. He will be missed!

Until we meet again my friend, your will be truly missed . I just can't believe you're gone. Rest in Peace Joe. 

I am very saddened by the terrible news. My thoughts and prayers are with the Lunsford family. I was extremely fortunate to be hired by one of Mr Lunsford's companies 13 years ago, I owe him greatly and will remember him fondly.

I'm stunned and saddened at this terrible news. My prayers go to his family and friends during this difficult time.

My deepest and most sincere condolences to the Lunsford family. Joe was one of the most thoughtful, kind, patient, and honorable person I ever had the pleasure to know. He will be sincerely missed. May he Rest In Peace.

My condolences to the Lunsford family & friends! I owe a great deal of my adulthood/career life to Joe Lunsford. I'm very fortunate to have worked for Joe beginning in March 2000 (and i'm still holding down the fort to this day). I think fondly of all those memories during the start up phase down in Forrest Park & Alpharetta. You'll be missed! Sincerely
